| Empire Ambulance serves
the New York Capital Region from Albany County to Warren County. The company is a combination of two Corporations doing business as Empire Ambulance Service. Troy Ambulance Service Inc. began service in 1955. Glens Falls Ambulance Service Inc. began service in 1980. Both companies were purchased in 1984 and have operated as Empire Ambulance since that time. Empire Ambulance has a fleet of 17 ambulances, three first response paramedic vehicles, and two wheelchair vans. We provide both Advanced Life Support and Basic Life Support services to a total population of over 500,000 people, 10 hospitals and 25 nursing homes, long term care and rehabilitation facilities. |
